Here is my entry to a gpwiki coding competition, the goal is to make an asteroids clone and add in new features to improve upon the original. I wrote the game using ruby and gosu, it took about 2-3 hours (I had to learn gosu). I quickly became bored of the game/competition so it's very basic.

Controls

turn left - a or left arrow
turn right - d or left arrow
accelerate - w or up arrow
fire weapon - space or ctrl
